Louis Leterrier directed the movie and Aviator star Sam Worthington played the lead role. Pete Postlethwaite was part of the movie as Spyros, the adoptive father of Perseus. He and his wife raised Perseus on the Cyclades Islands after finding him one day while they were fishing.
